Pay What You Can
I am now launching my shop as a “Pay what you can” store! I am of the belief that art should be accessible to all so am using this current way of selling work so more people can interact with art and have original pieces in their homes. Pay whatever you can or is manageable for you. So if you can pay £4 or £40 then please do!
So how does it work? Have a look through the different collections. If you find an image you like, send me over a message via the contact form (with PWYC in the Subject) with the following information and I will get pack to you as soon as possible!
- Copy the title of your chosen image, along with all the additional details (such as paper type and size)
- The amount you would like to pay. (This unfortunately does not include postage costs.)
- Postage type (see below for details)
- And of course, any questions you may have.
FAQs
How does PWYC work?
Basically, it is as it says on the tin. You pay what you can. This is a model so people from all walks of life can have access to art.
Customers are of course not obligated to spend a certain amount. As an artist requiring time and materials to create physical pieces, I cannot give my work away for free. This is so I can continue to make art and keep this way of selling work!
I don’t know how much to buy a piece for. What would you suggest?
I know how daunting it can be when buying a piece for the first time in a PWYC way!
Recommended starting prices are £4/€4/50 Swedish krona - £11/€11/150 Swedish krona (up to £50/€50/700 Swedish krona for larger pieces)
What are the postage types? Why is postage not free?
As I am based in Sweden use the postal service here Post Nord. Depending on the kind of service you wish to use ie normal post or tracked, then these would vary drastically in price. Just as I cannot give away my art for free, I also don’t want to end up losing money.
Currently I only post to Sweden, UK and the rest of Europe as I am still trying out theses postal services. If you are outside of these areas and are interested in purchasing a piece, don’t hesitate to shoot me an email and we can have a chat about it!
